The Valencian Community will administer 324.000 doses of the coronavirus vaccine this week

The Department of Universal Health and Public Health plans to administer 324.190 doses of the four vaccines that are already authorized in the European market in the next seven days.

From Pfizer, the largest amount will go to second doses between 70 and 79 years (108.908 doses), while another 74.730 will be inoculated, as first doses, to people between 69 and 72 years. The total doses of this pharmaceutical that will be used is 198.350 doses. In this group, people at high risk will also be vaccinated.

Of Moderna, 2.460 doses will be inoculated, most of which will be destined for second doses for people over 70 years of age.

AstraZeneca will be used for first doses in people aged 60 to 65 (born between 1956 and 1961). Approximately 84.280 doses distributed among large vaccination centers and another 26.100 doses in remote or dispersed basic health areas.

From Janssen, the Generalitat Valenciana will distribute 13.000 single doses in the large vaccination centers and their recipients, people between 70 and 72 years old.

In total, 112.050 Valencians will receive the second dose in the next seven days that will allow them to complete their vaccination. Another 13.000 will reach the optimal level of immunization with the Janssen single-dose vaccine.
