As in the case of our family and I do not know if putting a 0 or less something because all ... lousy food, service, treatment of the owner ...

Let's say upon arrival we had table reserved for 20 (there were many other, but certain things have no excuse) and I already noticed that to have it booked for some days, we had gotten a little tight (some of us we had to apelotonar by corners but it's because fit more customers on the terrace right?) but hey, I'm not a person of delicate requirements and did not mind too much.

Since there were so many of us, in order not to mess with the waiters, we wrote down everything we wanted on a piece of paper and we told him, grouped together in first and second courses and then what the children wanted so that they could bring it to them sooner. We were waiting for the food (even the children) for more than 3/4 of an hour, nor the drink they brought us (in fact there were some adults who finished their first course and still had no drink and that was only coke in those cases) . When they finally brought the food to the children, first you had to see the pint of the spaghetti but then you had to try the mixed paella (an invention that I have not yet digested, never better said, but well that is not the fault of this restaurant because this recipe is already established in the whole Levante coast and part of the peninsula) ... not a drop of salt! but nothing, not that he was bland, it was that he had forgotten the salt. Well, who has not ever forgotten to add salt to something or perhaps has put it twice by mistake? but we just told the waiter (who was the owner) and instead of saying the normal thing "I'm sorry, I'll tell the cook" or "I'm going to try it" ... something like that. Well no, she puffed out her chest as if it were a personal offering and the man told us that her wife was the cook and that she had never tasted better paella than her wife's in life. Which we did not discuss, but she had to understand that she had no salt but nothing, she was still in her thirteen and she went so far as to say that if the paella was like this it was because maybe it had to be like this , excuse me? you sneak it into a guiri or someone who has never tasted a paella but we are precisely from Valencia. Well, for three or four times it came with the same song and the adults who had asked for paella at the end, because of their bravado they wanted to change it but the man told them that those paellas would come from another ... LIE ... other paellas that came without salt. Finally the man ventured to try it in the kitchen and came with a salt shaker saying it was true, that he had no salt.
I tell all this takes place in almost 2 hours we were waiting for the 2 dishes on the menu.

Main Course just say that one of the people at the table asked what had garnish grilled tuna because it is allergic to tomatoes and wanted to make sure he was told that picaeta garlic and parsley and potato salad, perfect. When we got to bring the second, tuna (which porsupuestísimo tuna had little, was emperor) had green beans garnished with a questionable tomato sauce, is communicated to the waiter that a certain person can not take tomatoes and bring the same piece emperor on another plate of chips that are put to bravas (and leaving a bag of frozen super) if you gave back to the cut grouper ... was all basted tomato. Total, that person went to eat the main course because asking and tardasen 1 / 2 time bring something new was an ordeal.
And the people who asked piquillo peppers stuffed? for nothing, there had the others waiting while we ate the main courses to finally tell you that there were no peppers, very professional.

I do not forget the drinks! We ordered red summer ... and they wanted to sneak 3 jars 1 / 2 liter for 15 adults and all times the owner came to bring things did not realize they had the wrong jars until one of us told him and finally they brought us great pitchers, but hey, they wanted us to brew small it is a fact.

What else? Oh yeah ... After eating came to pick up several times and none asked us for dessert, when they finished collecting we had half an hour without anyone to visit my sister and my cousin they went to tell them we wanted dessert. We were told desserts, breads were exactly Calatrava 3, 5 lemon tarts and custards and ice cream then. As I love the bread of Calatrava (which is supposed to be flan cake soaked in honey) I throw myself to ask the first to ultimately turn out to be normal but with cinnamon creme brulee which gives me a lot Asquith cinnamon. Yes, I was without dessert. And finally cafes (when we get them back out to order them), summing up ... my mother was left without her coffee because going to ask again and I almost well and because I got heavy.

Anyway, we left there at 18: 30h afternoon.

Good luck to those who choose this restaurant

Hi Erika, do not know what Kitchen Lola was you or if you had very bad luck, but I was last year in Denia the second half of July and went several days for lunch and dinner at this restaurant, and the food was great, especially rice, which in those days I had time to try the seafood paella, mixed paella, black rice and rice a banda.

What if I give you the reason is that many days, usually on weekends, were a bit slow, but as we were on vacation we were not in a hurry.
This year we return to Denia and of course repeat.

I'm from Denia and have eaten many times at this restaurant, and also I've spent something like Erica, the paella was malisima lacked salt and tasted like it was made without broth, that I think it happens only day they have a lot work and do not have enough staff because they are quiet sun days the food comes out good. and I have not been eating paella, but rice or other side dish if and I liked
