Intense week for the educational infrastructures of the city of Dénia. Yesterday we knew that the construction of the third institute is finally beginning, today we echo the statements of the Minister of Education, María José Català, about the expansion of the IES María Ibars.
After the questions of IU Deputy Lluís Torró, català affirmed that the municipality of Dénia does not have the property of the extension plot, projected to more than 27.000 square meters, when at the moment there is a total area of 13.760 square meters.
Currently the María Ibars Institute has 12 prefabricated classrooms, and a final capacity of 1.180 students has been projected. The project includes twelve secondary units, eight baccalaureate units, two ordinary classrooms, nine training cycles, a dining room, a house for the janitor and a Valencian pilota court.
