After a relatively calm month in terms of weather, the notices of the State Meteorological Agency return to start March. On this occasion, the AEMET has decreed the orange alert in our area during today, which will be followed, for the moment, two days with yellow alert.
Again, the phenomenon that has caused this alert is wind, warning of the significant risk that can be expected from the expected gusts of up to 100 kilometers per hour. This has motivated the City Council to keep closed public areas such as Torrecremada Park, thus avoiding any incident due to the strong wind.
In addition, it is accompanied by a coastal yellow alert, by force wind 7 from the west and waves of up to 3 meters.
