Bassetes' agenda is transferred, in its most solidary version, to Torrecremada by COVID

24 June 2020 - 00: 43

The Department of Culture continues to bet on the schedule of activities for the Torrecremada gardens, a place with optimal conditions to ensure the basic safety standards of these times. The capacity of this outdoor space has been reduced to practically half and a maximum of 212 people will be able to access the scheduled activities.

For safety and hygiene reasons, there will be no bar service or food stops and a single chemical toilet will be installed, the access to which will be controlled by City Council personnel, as well as the entrance to the gardens and the accommodation of the public.

In July, a Music Festival will be held with concerts every Friday at 22.30:XNUMX p.m.
The festival begins on July 10 with the performance of the Spanish Brass Quintet and Carles Dénia, who present the project See if hem corregut terres, a mixture of contemporary songs by authors like Raimon or Serrat or La Gossa Sorda, with compositions that come from the time of the Muslim presence in the Iberian Peninsula or from the musical tradition of the Crown of Aragon.

On July 17 there will be an opera and zarzuela recital with the voices of Larisa Stefan, Amber Fasquelle, Evgeniya Khomutova and Max Hochmuth, from the Center for Improvement of the Palau de les Arts de València, accompanied on piano by José Miguel Román. They will perform works by Offenbach, Bizet, Poulenc, Capé, Chueca or Barbieri, among other composers.

On Friday, July 24, we propose a walk through the themes of the great Broadway musicals performed by the quartet of saxophones Ppura Pansa and, to end this July festival, on July 31 Carmen Paula Romero, on piano, and Ángel Belda, clarinet, they will offer the concert Rhythms of North and South, a journey through the most carefree classical music in North and South America that will go through milonga, waltz, tango and even flamenco, until reaching the melodies of blues and jazz, the cultural territory of North America.

The price of tickets is 5 euros and the proceeds will go entirely to the entities that make up the Dénia Solidarity Table (Caritas, Red Cross, Salvation Army and Extend your command). The sale of tickets will be made only online on the InstantTicket page from July 1.
