The AEMET activates the yellow alert in Dénia: the days gone by water return

November 09 from 2022 - 09: 45

The State Meteorological Agency has activated the yellow alert in Dénia and the entire north coast of the province of Alicante for several days. The strong and long-lasting rainfall that is expected has forced the AEMET to take this measure to warn of the risk that it may pose.

Dénia will live from Wednesday afternoon a new episode of heavy torrential rains that will last several days. According to the AEMET forecast, it will take place with very few breaks (none, according to the agency's prediction) until Sunday, where the sun will still be hidden behind a gray sky, but it will not discharge.

The rain will be accompanied by thunderstorms during the early hours of Thursday, as well as from noon on Friday to noon on Saturday. The temperatures, however, will remain similar, although the maximum will lose between three and four degrees in the coming days. Now, they will remain above 20 and the minimums above 13.
