The mayor, Ana Kringe, Requested the Director General of Police, Ignacio Cosidó, the project is creating a reactivated joint police station of the National Police and the Local Police in Dénia.
The Dianense mayor after meeting with Cosidó was pleased with the willingness of the Director General of Police to take up acting, so far paralyzed by budgetary matters. Cosidó said that in future the proposed execution of the work, with the modifications that once proposed the Dianense consistory, to obtain municipal approval will be forwarded to the City of Denia.
The future station is projected on a plot of 870,86 square meters located in Nou d'Octubre, next to Palau de la Justicia. The mayor signed the act of surrender to the Management Solar Infrastructure and Equipment of State Security (GIESE) in June 2009.
As agreed, the Interior Ministry and the Municipality of Dénia share the financing of the new building, corresponding to the central government the drafting and the cost of premises for the National Police.
