This Saturday, without a doubt, the most anticipated concert of the Music festival at the Castell de Dénia took place. The legendary artist Kiko Veneno dazzled more than a hundred people with a tour of his most remembered songs and new compositions of his most recent projects. A high level concert, but with services far from being up to par.
Kiko Veneno took the stage on Saturday night, being the last date this year inside the walls. Still on Sunday, it was possible to enjoy a performance by Música al Castell, that of the group of dolçainers from Benissa Pere Bigot, but this time located in the Plaça del Consell.
Thus closed a festival that celebrated its XXX edition with one of the best posters of recent years. That yes, somewhat overshadowed by shortcomings that the City Council drags in each event of this type, such as the lack of public toilets to be used by the attendees (during the Kiko Veneno concert there was only one to share among more than a hundred people ) and the lack of a bar to cool off, much needed especially in summer with high temperatures. The latter was supplied in the Música al Castell by the cafeteria bar of the castle, which was not prepared to serve so many people, soon running out of food stocks and forcing those present to queue for more than an hour to purchase a bottle of water.
