Event type: Exposition
The Department of Youth of the City Council of Dénia, in collaboration with the ESO centers of the city and the Department of Education, brings young people two traveling exhibitions of the IVAJ, which are part of the resources of the program M'Importa, designed to promote the commitment of young people with values such as solidarity, empathy, tolerance, peace and social rights.
The two exhibitions that will visit the Dénia Youth building, in ronda de les Muralles, 42, and the Historiador Chabàs, Maria Ibars, Sorts de la Mar and Paidos, are:
- Don't touch me on WhatsApp, an exhibition arising from the contest of the same name that invites young people from 14 to 30 years of the Valencian Community to participate with photographs, videos and messages that reflect the struggle of youth against sexist violence.
- Exili Illustrat, which brings together 36 illustration professionals, from fields as different as the press or comics, who rescue from oblivion the lives of key characters to understand the history of the Second Republic, the Civil War and exile.
Each exhibition will run for one week at each of the locations. In the Jóvens Art de Juventud Dénia room you can visit Don't touch me on WhatsApp from May 3 to 7 and Exili Illustrat, from May 31 to June 4 (the schedules will be subject to the needs of the vaccination process that is being developed at the Ronda de les Muralles facilities).
