El Real Club Nautico Denia participated, last weekend, in the Rodolfo Tomás Trophy, the first test of the 46ª Sailing Week of the Yacht Club of Xàbia. The Dianense club has achieved a total of one gold and two silver in the Optimist A and B categories.
The dianense Julia Martínez has achieved the first position in the Optimist B category. RCND sailor Elena Colom has won the silver in Optimist B and Nando Puig has achieved the second position in Optimist A.
The Real Club Náutico Dénia has competed in this test with a total of 11 participants, Carlota Gómez, Nicolás Gómez, Vicente Fernández, Eduardo Reyes and Nando Puig in Optimist A and Laia Martínez, Julia Martínez, Elena Colom, Pablo Bayo, Salvador Cogollos and Diego Cogollos, in Optimist B.
On Saturday, a total of four sleeves were made for Optimist A and three for Optimist B, on a day characterized by the strong wind. On Sunday there were a total of three sleeves for both categories.
This week they will compete in the Autonomous Championship for Optimist teams of the Javea Yacht Club.
Jaime Portolés, President of the Real Club Náutico Dénia, has congratulated all the sailors of the club for their great work and effort and has congratulated them for all the achievements made throughout the year.
