Juanra Pous and Mª Isabel Ferrer winners in the '12 Volta a Peu a El Verger '

The protagonists of the "12ª Volta a Peu to El Verger"They were Juanra Pous, the athlete from CD L'Espenta, who was the first to cross the finish line. Second place went to José Manuel García, from Club Atletismo Llebeig and third place went to Nizar Lakhlifi, from Multiesport Benitatxell. This athlete is also the one who leads the absolute classification of the Circuit a Peu Marina Alta. In women, the classification is headed by Isa Banyuls, from CA Automoción Moll.

On an afternoon that threatened rain, the more than 1.100 athletes had to cover a course of 10 kilometers. From the very beginning a small head group was formed, where the olivero, Juanra Pous, was the one who let his teammates know their power in the final meters.
