In a statement sent this morning, Juan Pons, mayoral candidate for Gent of Dénia, wanted to thank the support received during all this time. For the first time, a historical formation like Gent de Dénia has been left out of the city council after not reaching 5% enough to get a councilor.
No names, Pons says "No one is going to tarnish, no matter how hard they try, the trajectory of Denia's Gent in his 28 years. I hope he can sleep peacefully."In clear reference to the departure of Pedro Pastor of the party ranks and the subsequent creation of his own party, taking the votes that would have allowed Gent of Dénia get municipal representation.
Juan Pons congratulates all who have achieved representation in such a difficult time saying goodbye and "We will learn from this, analyze it and make the right decisions. Thank you and see you forever."
