The sailor of the RCN Dénia, finished in the fifth place of the Spanish Cup of the Europa Class of Sailing, which was held in Torrevieja.
The representative of the RCN Dénia was the fourth Spanish classified in a test that was organized by the RCN Torrevieja and the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation, with the collaboration of the Sailing Federation of the Valencian Community and the National Secretariat of the Europe Class.
To this appointment came a total of 56 sailors, from Catalonia, Andalusia, the Balearic Islands, Valencia and also Denmark, including Soren Johnsen, true legend of the Europe Class with more than one world title.
The partial victories of the European Cup of Europe were for: Juan Calvo, of RCN Denia in the first, Pau Schilt, of CN Masnou (2ª and 3ª) winner of the race; Alejandro Pareja, from RCN Torrevieja (4ª); Veith Nicklas, from CN Ibiza (5ª); and Salvi Borrat of CN L'estartit (6ª) The regularity of the results was decided by the Spanish Cup.
