The 21 of December of 1972 the central government granted the management of the then A7 to the company AUMAR. Since then, and thanks to the extensions granted by the different parties that have gone through the government, the company has continued to manage this important path that links the Valencian Community.
In principle, the concession ends in 2019, 45 years after that first concession, but the Joves Pel Dret collective to Decide Marines (JODaD) is not confident that the central government will abide by this deadline. That is why, next Friday, February 23, at 19:30 p.m., they have convened a round table to discuss this situation.
The mayors of El Verger, Basili Salort, are expected to attend this meeting; Gata de Gorgos, Magda Mengual; Benissa, Abel Cardona; Pedreguer, Sergi Ferrús; and Álex Ruiz de Bellreguard. The debate will be moderated by the general coordinator of the Pel Dret to Decide Platform, Antoni Infante, and will be held at the Gata de Gorgos Polyvalent Center.
