The second test circuit Dénia City Gastronómica Golf Tour that was disputed in the field of Club de Golf Las Pinaillas in Albacete had as winner the local player, José Carlos Espinosa. The winner ended a card 41 the best points more than hundred players who took part in the tournament.
All the participants received catalogs and guides of Dénia and its region and enjoyed the day of golf, whose icing on the cake was a wide draw of golf, tourist and gastronomic activities to develop in Dénia. All this has been possible thanks to the participation of La Sella Golf, The Marina de Denia and Denia Marriott hotel.
The event resulted in great success, focused its objective in promoting not only the tourist season of the usual months of sun and beach, but especially those who are outside, boosting complementary actions such as golf, a recognized asset activities tourism throughout the year. This is one of the bet that drives the municipality of Dénia to enhance designation Gastronomical UNESCO City.
Carlos García, director of La Sella Golf, which traveled to Las Pinaillas to appear in the tournament, thanked for the awards the support of the City of Dénia this initiative stating that "Denia is a destination for all ages, with many activities, spectacular cuisine and a terrific time. I hope everyone aware that everyone will be pleasantly surprised".
The next meetings of this circuit will be the 16 July at the Golf Club of Barcelona and 11 September in the town of Burgos Lerma.
