On Thursday 9 in August, the department of archeology of Dénia has scheduled a day to talk about the Church of Santa Maria de la Vila de Dénia, a Gothic church that between the fourteenth and eighteenth centuries was the center of religious practices in the city and that disappeared in 1708.
Juan Carlos Navarro Fajardo, from the University of Valencia, will talk about the ribbed vault of the temple. Josep Gisbert, municipal archaeologist, will deepen on the state of the missing church, and archaeologist Silvia Ruiz will review the archaeological traces discovered in archaeological follow-up works in the temple area.
It will start at 20: 00 hours in La Sala del Dénia Castle.
