Jordi Gil of the Multiesport-UCMontgó team was second in the 'III Duathlon Cross de Alfarp'

The cyclists of the Multiesport-UCMontgó team have had an intense weekend as far as competitions are concerned and participated in those contested in Alfarp and Alzira.

To highlight the second place achieved by the polyvalent, Jordi Gil, in the "III Duathlon Cross of Alfarp". Gil entered the finish line with a time of 1: 18.13, behind the winner that was, Joan Torres who made a record of 1: 17.27. The third box of the podium went up Pau Fernández, from Trilavall, who stopped the clock at 01: 22: 29.

The participants had to travel 6,1 kilometers of running race in the first segment, 19,5 kilometers of cycling and 2,9 kilometers of running race to finish.

After the first leg race, Álex Rodríguez, from CT Huracán, took the lead in the competition. At the end of the first segment, almost 20 kilometers of BTT were waiting for them. Once the second segment was changed, the head of the men's race changed and it was Joan Torres who dominated in cycling.

Finally, after completing the third segment, Joan Torres proclaimed himself the winner of the "III Duathlon Cross of Alfarp".

Alejandro Seguí was seventh in Alzira

Alzira welcomed the "VII Puntuable Test of the Challenge of Ciclocrós of the Comunitat Valenciana", where the best of the Multiesport-UCMontgó cyclists was, Alejandro Seguí who finished the race in the sixth position of the M40 category. In that same category, Jaume Canet occupied the 28 position. Javier Almela, was among the highlights of the Elite category when finishing in ninth position.
