The EATIM of Jesús Pobre continues its fight to offer a decent and quality health service to its citizens, and there seems to be little progress.
EATIM president, Javier ScottoAnd the Head of Social Welfare, Maria Rosa Costa Costa, have managed intranet infrastructure to complete the connection to program computerized health management. This process has been assisted by the Mayor of Gata de Gorgos, Ana Mª Soler.
According to Scotto, "The main technical obstacle for the provision of a decent health service in Jesús Pobre has been saved"But they are still awaiting the Department of Health allocate computer equipment and discharge the Abucasis program, without which it is not possible to access medical records or perform such simple steps as issuing prescriptions, high and low.
Scotto said that "If there is a minimum interest of the Ministry of Health to regularize this situation, it would be completed in the shortest time possible".
