Poor Jesus raises his voice against the bill for reform of local government

Last Saturday many residents gathered in Jesus Pobre were taken to defend the identity of Local Authorities Minors against Bill Streamlining and Sustainability of the Local Administration promoted by the Popula Party, which involves removing the skills and capacity of the EATIM .

Mayor, Javier ScottoHe explained that "The minor local entities are nowadays the closest administration to the citizens, since the urban center of Dénia is eleven kilometers away from Jesús Pobre, created where municipalism does not arrive effectively, a situation that, with its disappearance, would cause existence of first and second citizens ".

According to the mayor of EATIM reform poses no savings to the state coffers, as "The Neighborhood Board does not charge a single euro for exercising the Local Administration, while other Administrations fatten their salaries, bonuses and have useless and superfluous services."

In the round of speeches, Lluís Fornés, one of the historic mayors of Jesus Pobre, recalled the great effort that led to the creation of the EATIM, I was culminated in 1999 and has had over the years, a "positive impact on the improvement of services and investments that have been made for years".

Friday September 27, Jesus Pobre, La Xara and Llosa de Camatxo are summoned to come to the Valencian Federation of smaller local authorities to rally in defense of the smaller local authorities to be held in Madrid.
