The beautiful Marina, from Javiense Daniel Fernández has been the winning design of I Contest of Illustrators of the Marina Alta organized by the MACMA. Last Friday, in the new headquarters of the organization, in Ondara, the name of the winner was announced and the prize was presented.
Daniel Fernández received, from the hands of the Mayor of Dénia and president of the MACMA, Vicent Grimalt, a batch of books published by the commonwealth and 200 euros in cash. In addition, during the ceremony the winning work was presented, in large format, which will decorate the venue until the next call.
The event was attended by the participants of the call, as well as many political representatives to know the verdict of a jury chaired by the MACMA's vice president, Rafa Carrió and headed by the professional illustrator Pep Ferrer, who congratulated the Cultural Commonwealth for the fact "Having launched such an important initiative to revitalize the guild of illustrators in the region as the one represented by this event".
The designs presented can be seen at the MACMA headquarters during these days, on Blasco Ibáñez de Ondara Street.
