The Department of Health of Dénia will host this Thursday, 10 of May, the IV Multiprofessional Conference of Gynecology and Obstetrics, an annual meeting that will bring together professionals from the Gynecology and Obstetrics Service. On this occasion they will do it around two tables; the first one dedicated to thesis projects, while the second one will present different oral communications prepared by the professionals.
The presentation of the meeting will be the responsibility of the Department's Chief of Gynecology and Obstetrics, Pedro Clemente; the Director of Care and Services of the Department, Alfredo Moreno; the Vice-President of the College of Nursing of Alicante, Montserrat Angulo and the Supervisor of Midwives, Silvia Crespo.
The Head of the Gynecology Service of the IVO Foundation, Lucas Minig, will open the day with a talk on the Multidisciplinary treatment of gynecological cancer. Next, residents, both MIR and EIR, will present their work on endometriosis and the use of nitrous oxide during labor.
For its part, the second table will present issues ranging from prolapse of the pelvic floor to the performance of the perinatal duel or the results of the Reproductive Unit of the Hospital de Dénia.
