Markku Järvinen, medical director of the hospital Kanta-Häme Central Finland, has been welcomed by the Hospital de Dénia for an exchange of professionals through participation in the European program HOPE (Hospitals for Europe). As part of the exchange, the director of the Health Center Ondara, Rafael Gómez-Ferrer, is at the Kuopio University Hospital in Finland.
HOPE, Hospitals for EurOPE, is formed by the national associations of public and private hospitals and by the representatives of the national health systems of the member states of the European Union, plus Switzerland.
The program focuses primarily on practical training during the stay, and its mission is to promote the improvement of the health of citizens in EU countries, provide a high standard of hospital care and foster efficiency and humanity within health organizations so that there is greater operational capacity of hospital services and national health systems.
