On Saturday the meeting between CFS Mar Dénia and FS Ripollet took place at the Dénia Municipal Sports Center, corresponding to the second day of Group III of the 2nd Division B, postponed in its day by a positive in the visiting team.
From the beginning, and given the moment in which the competition is located, both teams went out overturned in search of the rival goal. The chances were immediate and with a strong rhythm of the game they put the goalkeepers to the test again and again. Mar Dénia, faithful to his game, tried to get out with the ball controlled from his area, while the visiting team, with a more direct game, exerted strong pressure throughout the field and threw quick counters.
In the 6th minute, after a corner kick, it was 0-1. Once again it was time to come back, but this time, with both teams focused on the attack, the equalizer did not wait and two minutes later Jaume with a strong outside shot got 1-1.
The attacks were continuous and the strong pressure throughout the field loaded both teams with fouls. In the 15th minute, a good triangulation between Toni, Jaume and Omar served for the latter to score and put it 2-1 on the scoreboard, a result that brought the game to rest.
The second part was more of the same and despite the great physical wear and tear the pace did not slow down at any time. The occasions happened in both goals. In the 29th minute, after a foul on the edge of the area, Ripollet achieved the equalizer with a strong low shot, putting it 2-2 on the scoreboard. There were 10 minutes left and everything was up in the air. Both teams had good chances but were unable to score.
With 2 minutes remaining, Ferran fired a strong outside shot that the visiting goalkeeper managed to deflect, crashing against the crossbar, but the rebound fell on Curro's legs, who with calm and class scored the 3-2. The visiting team immediately put the goalkeeper player on the court, but the Dianenses, with a well-ordered defense, managed to endure the final two minutes and obtained the victory with the final result of 3-2.
Very important points that break the dynamics after the two draws achieved at home after winning and that grant three necessary points in the current phase of the competition.
The next day, CFS Mar Dénia will play at home again on Saturday 15/05/2021 at 18:30 p.m. against Cerdanyola.
