The IEN Number 3 of Dénia presents its Erasmus + project at the Educational Days of the Marina Alta

Last Thursday, 22 of February, in the Teulada Auditorium and within the programming of the Conference on Education of the Marina Alta, the project coordinators Erasmus + of the IES Nº3 of Dénia, Núria Monteagudo and Isabel Monserrat presented the project to the entire educational community attending the conference, which year focused on educational inclusion. The project is titled Europe Fusion: Special Educational Needs, a real path towards inclusion.

It is a teacher mobility project that consists of three structured courses, of which two have already been developed: one in Florence (Italy) and another in Sessimbra (Portugal), and two job shadowing that will be developed soon in England and France.

The fundamental objectives of the project are to encourage multilingualism; improve the attention of students with special educational needs using new learning methodologies and promoting the use of ICT; and strengthen the inclusion of students with functional diversity in order to get them to fully develop their possibilities.

The counselor of the center, Xavier Ibáñez, together with the secretary of the IES Enric Valor de Pego, explained the experience of inclusion of the specific classroom, stating that "Inclusion is the educational response to diversity".
