From this Monday, 12 of February, and during two weeks, the IES Number 3 of Dénia hosts an exhibition on the work of MC Escher, a Dutch artist known for his xylographic engravings, his engravings to the mezzotint and his drawings, which consist of figures Impossible, tessellated and imaginary worlds.
The work exhibited is the personal collection of Juan Madrigal Muga who, last October, gave a lecture on the mathematical vision of Escher for the school of mathematics.
This exhibition has been possible thanks to the mathematics department of the center and the School of Mathematics of the Marina Alta.
