Tuesday August 11 was issued in TVE La 1 of the program Chefs at the wheel which it was recorded a few weeks ago in Dénia.
This time, the program skirted the coast of Alicante making two stops: the first in Calpe, where applicants had to cook a alicantina fideuá. The three teams that failed to produce a good fideuá had to overcome Mini Quiz and face the team behind, La Furgo Gourmet Street Food.
The second stop was Dénia where the test was held The last cooked in which the contestants had to surprise the palates of the jury with the red queen of the Mediterranean, Denia prawn, whose kilo is valued at 200 euros. The dish that allowed their continuity in the program was a prawn cebiche, crispy head and fruit salad.
Dénia test was recorded on the promenade next to the Maritime station, and the images will show the facade of Dénia with the castle y the Montgo as clear protagonists.
Chefs at the wheel is a talent show culinary in which contestants compete to produce the best dishes fast food caravans known in English as Food trucks while they travel the Spanish geography.
