The Rotary clubs of Benissa, Dénia, Xàbia and Calp have honored the health personnel of the Marina Alta with a mural painting in the cafeteria of the Hospital de Dénia.
The work, which is part of the cuidArt art project for the humanization of sanitary spaces, represents three sanitary figures who, on an image of the coronavirus, hold the globe of the world.
The presentation ceremony took place this noon in the cafeteria of the Dianense center. The Manager of the Dénia Health Department –DSD-, Luis Carretero; the Governor of the Roraty Club area, Ricardo Molina; the representatives of the aforementioned Rotary clubs and the Director of the Art Project, Alicia Ventura.
Both Luis Carretero and Alicia Ventura have thanked, on behalf of the health workers, the initiative of the Rotary clubs of the Marina Alta; While, on the part of the Rotarians, the gratitude has been in reverse, for the work carried out by the professionals of the region during this pandemic.
In this sense, the former Head of Pediatrics of the DSD and member of the Rotary Club, Luis Santos, highlighted the suitability of the location, “since the cafeteria represents the resting place and thus professionals can verify that, all the effort that it is being carried out, it is not in vain ”.
