The guitarist Toni Cotolí premieres his new show 'Sueños de Guitarra' in Dénia

The prestigious guitarist, Toni Cotolí, presents us with his new show "Guitar Dreams", Next Friday 8 from September to 20: 30 hours at the Auditori Center Social. This concert is part of the programming of the "XIII Days of the Guitar City of Denia 2017", promoted by the association Nova Companyia de Guitarres with the collaboration of the delegation of Culture of the City of Denia.

Fusion of styles

The new show by Toni Cotolí is a fusion of styles and varied repertoire. In the first classical part, Cotolí will be accompanied by the cello by Gloria Aleza, playing music by Óscar Herrero, Baden Powell, Agustín Barrios, Joe Hisaishi and Luis Nuño. In the second most flamenco part, "Guitars of the Mediterranean"Will play pieces by Astor Piazzolla, Esteban de Sanlúcar and Javier Zamora.

Irene de la Rosa, a classical and flamenco dancer, will take care of the choreography accompanying part of the music. "For me it is a luxury to be able to count on these artists. In addition, we have managed to fuse very different styles and aesthetics to create a thread that goes from less to more. And incorporating Irene de la Rosa has been a wise move. Its dance has much art, taste, elegance and subtlety, as well as flamenco energy", Emphasizes Cotolí.

Broad musical career

Cotolí began his classical guitar studies at the Joaquín Rodrigo Conservatory in Valencia and completed his training at the Luthier Music School in Barcelona, ​​at the Robert Schumann Hochschule in Düsseldorf and at the University of Cáceres, where he studied the Master of Music Performance directed by the prestigious guitarist Ricardo Gallén.

It has 5 edited CDs, "Toni Cotolí" (2003), "Among Friends" (2007), "Sunset" (2010), "Dreams"(2014) and"Aromas de Guitarra - Oda"(2015), which he has presented in countries such as France, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Portugal, England, the United States, Japan, China and the United Arab Emirates.
