Grimalt has transferred to the Consellera aspects of health care in the region that he considers to be improvable and that relates to the current management model in La Marina Alta. The pending construction of the second health center in Dénia, the few referrals of patients from the region to the Hospital de Crónicos and Larga Estancia de La Pedrera, the necessary implantation of the Children's Health Unit, the problem of hospital emergencies and the low ratio of specialists (neurology, cardiology, etc.) have been the main topics that the mayor has transferred to the Council.

During the meeting, the Councilor proposed to the Mayor of Dénia the possibility of holding a meeting with the Network of Mayors of the Marina Alta in the month of September in which all these problems are addressed. In this meeting will attend the person in charge of the recently created general direction of High Health Inspection, María Luisa Roselló, which will be in charge of controlling the private management of the sanitary administrative concessions of the Valencian Community.
