The Mayor of Dénia, Vicent Grimalt, today visited the Fitur International Tourism Fair in Madrid, coinciding with the celebration of the Valencian Community Day at the event.
Grimalt took advantage of the visit to hold various work meetings, such as the one held this morning with the mayors of tourist destinations offering sun and beach in the Community, in which the possibility of creating an association that brings them together and from which defend their joint interests in unison.
The mayor has also met with representatives of companies related to sustainability projects and the Smart Tourist Destination Plan that Dénia is going to carry out.
In the space of the Valencian Community where Dénia is represented in this edition of Fitur, Vicent Grimalt has had the opportunity to talk with the Secretary of State for Tourism, Fernando Valdés, the president of the Generalitat, Ximo Puig, and the regional secretary of Tourism, Francesc Colomer.
