Agents of the National Police of the Dénia Police Station have detained four people and have dismantled three black points of retail drug sales, mainly marijuana, located in a local of a cannabis association and two houses in the historic center of the town.
The information that started the investigation on this occasion reached the agents in two different ways. On the one hand, the neighborhood complaints channeled through the Delegate of Citizen Participation of the National Police in Dénia that after several meetings with neighborhood associations echoed the neighborhood unrest due to the existence of two floors in the historic center of the city where apparently, presumably, narcotic substances, mainly marijuana, were being trafficked at the retail level, where the traffic of buyers of this drug was constant throughout the day.
On the other hand, through the website of the National Police, several anonymous complaints were received about these addresses allegedly used for the sale of drugs and the existence of a marijuana plantation inside.
Once the information was received, the corresponding police operation made up of uniformed and civilian agents from the Citizen Security Brigade and the Dénia Judicial Police Brigade was ordered, establishing surveillance and actions around the buildings described.
The device quickly paid off and the police observed how the drip of people entering and leaving the premises used by the cannabis association was constant, and that when they left they carried doses of marijuana, which is why the association was allegedly being used to traffic with this substance. Likewise, they confirmed that the people who ran the association were the same people who used the other two properties investigated where there was allegedly a marijuana plantation and where this drug was also trafficked.
Once all the components of the criminal network had been identified, a special police device was organized that obtained the arrest of the four investigated, being the president, the secretary, the treasurer and a member of the cannabis association.
Several records were also made in which 1,5 kilos of marijuana buds, almost 100 marijuana plants, seedbeds, useful for plant growth and about 1.000 euros in cash were intervened.
The main responsible, 28 years old, was placed at the disposal of the Dénia Investigating Court, the other arrested were released once they heard a statement at police stations.
