Basketball great performance of Dénia in the finals of the Valencia Lliga

Dénia Básquet managed to win the victory in four of the five finals of the Lliga Valenciana in which he participated this weekend organized by the Basketball Federation of the Valencian Community in Pau Gasol pavilion of Alfas del Pi. The five MVP awards for the matches fell on Dianenses club players.

Alevin Femenino: CB Pedreguer 10- Dénia Basketball 60

The girls of Jesús Pantojo started the game somewhat nervous circumstances that took the CB Pedreguer to fight face to face and make things difficult dianenses.

From the second period, the differences were increasing, closing the final score in the fourth period coinciding with the best minutes of Elena Sanz that reulted elected Best player of this match.

Men's Alevín: Lope de Vega Benidorm 51- Dénia Basketball 53

Excellent performance of the dianenses players of 2002 that gave no option to their rival thanks to their offensiveness and great implication behind that triggered the differences from beginning to end in their favor.

The MVP of the match was Dianense Marc Nadal.

Women's Cadet: CB Teixereta Ibi 48- Dénia Basketball 57

The team of Ibi turned out to be a hard opponent very well organized that did not allow the takeoff in the score of Dénia Básquet until the last ten minutes of the match.

The dianenses knew how to overcome a day where things did not come out fluid and obtain a valuable victory that reinforces them and launches a season that may be important.

Andrea Ponce was designated as the most outstanding player of the match.

Senior Men: CD ONIL 67- Dénia Basketball 59

The match that closed the Senior Men's Lliga Valenciana was equalized in its first eight minutes when Onil improved both his defense and his percentage in the outside shot to open a gap in the scoreboard that would be extended until reaching the break, (43 -29).

Resumed the game the Dénia Básquet was excellent in defense improving his rebound and not conceding easy shots to his rival, arguments that were worth to him to approach again in the marker and force two dead times of his rival.

The game although it was always dominated by CD Onil was not decided until the last minute when the dianenses with six points of disadvantage missed two attacks to get closer and press their rival who ended up securing the result.

The Dianense Jordi Soler was chosen best player of the final thanks to the 20 points and 9 rebounds achieved.
