Gonzalo Monfort is the new coordinator of Manos Unidas in the region

Voluntarily, Gonzalo Monfort offered to take over the corrdinación of Manos Unidas in the region. True to the mission of Manos Unidas, to favor the development of the neediest people, Monfort takes responsibility with great enthusiasm and spirit of dedication to "sensitize the whole region".

After 53 years in operation, Manos Unidas is one of the organizations that has more support from the people. In the year 2011, the NGO allocated a total of 52 million euros to the realization of projects around the world with the aim of helping their communities to develop their work. It should be noted that Manos Unidas funding is given in an 80% by private initiative and an 20% is the help it receives from different institutions.

This year 2012 the NGO's motto "The right to health as everyone's right", and focuses its efforts on the eradication of AIDS or malaria, among other endemic diseases that affect the population of the third world.

Locally, Manos Unidas Dénia participate in the financing of a rural electrification project in El Triunfo (Honduras) so your neighbors can have access to electricity. The total budget amounts to 66.000 euros.

Gonzalo Monfort put special emphasis on the solidarity of people, that although individually we can not change the world, we can help so that others in need have better living conditions.

    Well, there is no issue for boyos with the alleged corruption of the PP in aid to NGOs from the Conselleria de Solidaridad de Blasco. Now I understand that they want to have the people of the popular party also controlling the NGOs ... so that what happened to them does not happen again ... good luck in their position, but transparency in aid to the third world ...
