Dénia will host the next November 2 of the 1st Trophy Baleària of Rhythmic Gymnastics, a group competition that will gather more than 180 gymnasts from the Valencian Community and the Balearic Islands. Sponsored by the Fundació Baleària and organized by the Club of Dénia Rhythmic Gimnàstica in collaboration with the Department of Sports City Council of Dénia.
The trophy will feature seven clubs of the Balearic Islands and some of the best teams in the Valencia region, including Dianense host.
The sporting event has been presented this morning at the Town Hall of Dénia by the Councilor for Sports, Sisco Signes, the manager of the Fundació Baleària, Ricard Pérez, the president of the Club Gimnàstica Dénia, Nela Viciano, and the coordinator of the trophy and also a member of the club's board, Karina Raso.
The competition, which will take place in the pavilion of Joan Fuster of Dénia, will begin at 9 in the morning and will last until 14 hours.
As indicated by the president of the Club Gimnàstica Dénia, this trophy "opens a path of collaboration with the Balearic club in order to create sets of gymnasts as Dianense ago the club with others in Valencia".
Ricard Pérez praised the great efforts of the organization, "who has managed to exceed all expectations of participation"And thanked the council the transfer of the necessary infrastructure to carry out this competition in Dénia. Finally, Perez stressed the importance of such initiatives "in addition to tourism" from the city.
