The Federation of Independent Parties held its annual meeting in Torrevieja. During the same was elected as President of the Federation Domingo Soler, the APTCe of Torrevieja, Vice President Pedro Alemany, Gent per la Vila, Vice Lola Romeralo Democratic Forum Valencia, for the post of secretary Jose Juan Server.
Among the points discussed the proposal to attend the regional elections jointly in order to obtain representation in the Valencian Parliament and the Provincial Councils consolidated. To this end they have been set up working groups to begin organizing the proposals that integrate an electoral program, but always respecting the independence and ideas of each of the parties.
In it, the new incorporations of Parties were ratified, which currently amounts to 135 parties from different municipalities. Giving an account of the constitution of the Regional Association of the Marina Alta, whose position as regional coordinator was appointed to Juan Carlos Parets , from Gent of Dénia, the Xara i poor Jesus.
One of the first actions arising out of this Assembly will draft a motion requesting a change in the electoral law. Now for the first councilor in a municipality it is necessary to reach at least 5% of the votes, so we ask that recess until 3%. Once prepared the motion will be presented in all municipalities to take it to the plenary.
