Cycle of conferences and gastronomy
In particular, the area of archeology and museums has developed a program around the theme "Dénia. Discover Alfonso V of Aragon and María de Castilla. Remembrance of the origins of the Generalitat Valenciana". It is about several activities that will be held between the 4 and the 8 in October.
The first of the activities will take place on Thursday October 4, in the Room of the Dénia Castle, from the 19 hours. The main theme of this day will be to discover the origins of the. It will open a conference entitled "Remembrance of King Alfonso V of Aragon and Mary of Castile", offered by the professor emeritus of Medieval History of the University of Alicante José Hinojosa Montalvo. Next, the journalist and writer Alfonso Lorenzo Gadea will speak about the birth of the Generalitat Valenciana. Finally, the speakers, accompanied by the Councilor for Culture, Rafa Carrió, will debate in round table on the subject "The Generalitat Valenciana. Past, present and future. The Statute of Autonomy as a mirror".
At 21: 30 hours, the celebration of the birth of the Generalitat is transferred to the table, specifically at the Nou Romà hotel, where a tasting of tapas with feudal airs and emblematic fruits of the medieval Dénia will be served, with wines of taste of the count of Dénia, Alfonso de Aragón and Foix, descendant of Jaime I. Concert by Ina and Paco Muñoz
The programming of the 9 of October in Dénia is completed with other activities, organized from the area of Cultural Promotion.
El Monday October 8, at the 20: 30 hours, in the Social Center auditorium, the disc will be presented Així of Ina Martí, with the participation of Paco Muñoz. Martí will sing poems by Vicent Andrés Estellés, Voro Ortells, María Josep Escrivà, Luis Cernuda, Vicente Alexandre and Miguel Hernández. For the holiday, on Tuesday 9 in October, Dianium Dansa will go out again with the giants Tirant i Carmesina.
