García Barragán and Mª Isabel Ferrer winners in the 'Cursa de Teulada'

The story of the last edition in the "XVI Cursa Popular de Teulada" and the absolute winners of it were in women, Mª Isabel Ferrer and in men to José Manuel García, both athletes of the Llebeig Athletics Club Xàbia.

The race again had a leading group where there was a nice duel between two athletes Xaabieros, José Manuel García and Nizar Lakhlifi, this Club Multiesport Benitatxell. In the end the experience and especially the greater strength of García Barragán served him to take down the young Nizar Lakhlifi.

The Llebeig Xàbia athlete entered the finish line with a time of 34: 03. The second in goal was Nizar Lakhlifi with a record of 34: 15 and very close, Juan Vidal, of CA Automoción Moll with a mark of 34: 19.

In women Mª Isabel Ferrer returned to have a placid career dominating from beginning to end. His time crossing the finish line was 37: 53. The second place went to Cristina Roselló, from the Benitatxell Multiesport Club with a 41 brand: 00. The third place went to Sonia Tirado of the Benidorm Athletics Club who made a time of 41: 59.
