After a month and a half of work, the period in which the work had to be completed in order to receive the subsidy from the Department of Commerce (114.000 euros - 70% of the total amount), Magallanes Street now presents its new face. In the absence of installing the planters, the trees and painting the blue area, the section that runs between Calle Diana and Carlos Sentí it's finished.
Traders in the area have shown amazed at the speed and the final result of the work, which leaves a street with wider sidewalks -2 meters- and a single row of parking of vehicles on the side of the Municipal Market.
Where is the "woodland" that Mr. Chelet spoke of? For when are some pots with three ridiculous myrtle balls? Are they going to turn the entire downtown into a wasteland? it looks like it is.
