Filà Barbary Pirates

In the 2011 and challenging year a particularly critical moment in the economy, a group of dianenses women were encouraged to create what would be the desimosexta FILA parties Moors and Christians Denia: FILA Barbary piratesBelonging to Moorish side.

From that moment on, they became the fourth row made up of women from the Dénia parties and third on the Moorish side.

Name's origin

The Berber pirates were pirates from North Africa, from where they attacked any point in southern Europe, fleeing with hostages for whom they demanded ransom.
