OPINION Juanjo Nieves, candidate for podem Dénia
Two days after the end of the race of electoral promises to get the votes that guarantee continuity in governance for some parties, for others to scratch a few more votes and at least to get their entry or return to the Consistory, I think the time has come to that the citizens reflect and, later, participate in the call to the polls next Sunday the 28th.
In view of the electoral programs of the majority of parties, there are "similar" proposals that are similar in form but that differ in substance and in the conditions to which they are subject, as has been verified on countless occasions. with the parties that have more political weight and that are forced, after the elections and once in government, to give the considerations demanded by those from whom they received their support.
There is a lack of courage and there is a lack of courage, because a good part of the commitment that is acquired with the electoral program of the big parties is subject to what is verifiable evidence for everyone.
Podem Dénia is a humble party in economic means, that does not owe anything to anyone and that can, therefore, say things to their faces without fear, with a false image that has been manipulated and reviled by many, but that focuses all its efforts on being by the side of people to improve their lives and, furthermore, makes possible what many say, from the outset, that it is impossible, because we have plenty of political will so that those changes that we need become effective.
For this reason, I ask as mayor, we ask from Podem Dénia, to all Dianenses to reflect and that this Sunday they flock to exercise their right to vote.
At stake is what Dénia will be in the next 4 years and the changes that our city and its people need.
