Miguel Hernández Avenue, at the intersection with Miraflor Street, has been the scene of a very serious accident in which a motorcycle and a moped were involved.
It occurred this morning with a tragic outcome. As confirmed by the authorities, the 48-year-old motorcycle driver from Dénia has lost his life on the spot after suffering a severe head injury.
Upon receiving the notice, members of the Local Police and a SAMU have traveled to the place. The latter have carried out immediate resuscitation maneuvers on the victim, but nothing has been done for his life. The other injured man, aged 16, has been taken to hospital.
The cause of the accident has not been disclosed so far.
