The journalist Jaume Ferrer, the voice of COPE Dénia, dies

Regional journalism is in mourning. Jaume Ferrer, a veteran journalist closely linked to various media outlets over the years, has passed away this Saturday at the age of 61.

The journalist had been working for some time as coordinator of COPE News, narrating the news to all the residents of the Marina Alta from the station. But years before he also went through the microphones of Radio Dénia and Radio 9, as well as on Channel 9 and the newspaper El Mundo.

Today, at the age of 61, he has died at the Alicante Hospital after worsening his state of health. The sudden news has shocked the region, with multiple displays of affection from the community in the last few minutes.
