El Marina and Resort Marina de Denia will host, from the 27 from April to the 1 from May, the XI Nautical Hall of Dénia, five days of competition in which, in addition to hosting all the novelties of the nautical sector, sports and activities will be protagonists.
This Wednesday, the director of Marina de Dénia, Gabriel Martínez, has shelled some of the novelties of this year's edition. Three will be the fundamental pillars of this edition: the promotion of the sea and nautical activities among the youngest, the promotion and development of nautical companies in the area and nautical leisure as a source of wealth in the territory.
Access to Boat Show of Dénia is totally free, as well as the activities that will be developed. The schedule of the fair is, uninterrupted, from 10 to 20 hours. From Saturday 27 to Tuesday 1 in May, there will be catamaran trips to the Cabo de San Antonio Marine Reserve, to the 10, 11: 30 and 13 hours. Tickets for the departure of the catamaran will be distributed at the same time of departure, in order of arrival to the queue that will be formed for access to it. The maximum capacity will be 100 people per exit. This year, the SND has put at the service of all its visitors, the tourist train, which will have three stops in Dénia.
Every day, from 10 to 14 and from 16 to 20 hours, there will be children's workshops and remote-controlled boats for children. Also every day, from 10 to 14 and from 16 to 19 hours, you can perform baptisms of Paddle Surf, Hawaiian Canoes, Sup and Big Sup. And, from 10 to 20 hours, you can visit the Maritime Rescue boat.
On Saturday 28 in April, at 10: 30 hours, the oceanic sailor Alex Pella, will give a talk about his latest record in the Tea Route. And, at the 11: 30 hours, the Ministry of the Environment and those responsible for the Marine Reserve, will release a turtle. On 29 Sunday in April, from 12 to 13 hours, there will be a tasting of Mahou Beers, offered by the restaurant La Vaca de Baco and the 12: 30 hours, a Flyboard exhibition in charge of Seaquake. At 13 hours, the traditional canine fashion show will take place. Mascotetes. On Monday, 30, at 12 hours, will be offered a demonstration Sup Aireal and Fly Yoga, by Tessa Smith, from the Marina Nautical Activities Center of Dénia.
5º Marina Art Competition of Dénia
In its eagerness to promote the love of the sea among the little ones, the XI Dénia Boat Show has summoned the fifth edition of its children's contest, this year promoting to the students the realization of models of the lighthouse of Marina de Dénia, symbol of the room.
Three schools have participated in this event: Montgó, Carmelitas and Raquel Payá, with a total of 40 presented models, overflowing the forecasts of the organization. The models will be exhibited during the celebration of the Dénia Boat Show and an internal committee will award this year's prizes.
