This school year at the IES Sorts de la Mar de Dénia an Erasmus+ project is being developed for teacher training mobilities on STEAM subjects (Science Technology Engineering Arts and Mathematics in English STEAM (Science-Technology-Engineering- Arts and Mathematics). The project began in 2019 and due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it has suffered an extension in carrying out the mobilities.
The objective of the project is to train teachers to carry out interdisciplinary didactic projects in STEM subjects, promote multilingualism and linguistic competence in foreign languages among teachers.
The first mobility that could be carried out was an observation of teaching practice in Lille (France) at the Lycée - Thérèse d'Avila where three teachers moved: Josep Rovira (head of studies and biology teacher), Iván Bisquert (mathematics teacher and department head) and Enric Campos (geography and history teacher and department head). A comparative analysis of mobility has been carried out between the French and Spanish educational systems.
The second mobility took place in February and was carried out by the Economics professor and head of the department, Eva Caldú, to Dublin (Ireland) to take a structured training course: Communication, creativity, collaboration and critical thinking. 4 o'clock C's.
The third mobility was held in the month of April and was carried out by the teachers Ana Tere Mut (Physics and Chemistry), Carmen Martí (Biology and Geology) and Esther Soriano (Drawing) to Palermo at the Liceo Linguístico Statale Ninni Cassarà.
The English teacher, Marta Lafuente, held a structured course in Dublin (Ireland) from April 25 to 30 on the use of mobile devices and tablets as a classroom teaching tool.
And in mid-May, the technology teachers, Elena Enrile and Encarni Gómez, will carry out a training course on virtual and augmented reality in Greece.
