Eunice Pastor Sendra, new director of the Colegio Alfa & Omega de Dénia

August 31 from 2017 - 01: 00

The Pastor Cabrera de Dénia Foundation has chosen Eunice Pastor Sendra as the new director of the Alfa & Omega School.

After thirty-eight years Jorge J. Pastor leaves his responsibility as head of the school due to his retirement. This project began with Jorge and his wife Encarnita who had the vision of establishing an academic institution with new pedagogical methods in full democratic transition.

It started with the Montgó Kindergarten, which was a milestone in education in our region and later in 1992 would evolve in the school with the stages of primary, secondary and now in the process of expanding to high school.

Alfa & Omega is based on an ideology of respect and empowerment of each personality because each student is different, without discrimination of gender, religion, social class and ethnicity. In addition to being a private school, it maintains the non-profit principle, making it possible for all students who wish to study in this center to have access.

Eunice Pastor Sendra, a primary school teacher, with a Master's degree in School Mediation, has spent 20 years at Alfa & Omega, also being head of primary school for the last 12 years. From this next course he will begin his responsibility together with the entire management team formed by María Eugenia Utor, Cándida Garrido and Hugo Walthon. He will address several new challenges such as the North American dual high school, robotics and programming with LEGO for primary and ESO and the consolidation of educational projects that have already been started in Alfa & Omega in recent years
