It's official: the curfew is over in the Valencian Community after almost 8 months

03 June 2021 - 11: 33

This morning the interdepartmental meeting in which the Consell debated on the new measures that will come into force next week was held first thing in the morning. A meeting with great follow-up and that has aroused strong interest due to two decisions that were being considered to be approved and that would mean a great change in the situation of the Valencian Community: the end of the curfew and the reopening of nightlife.

Ximo Puig has given the great news in his appearance before the media: the restriction on night mobility comes to an end. Starting next Tuesday, the famous curfew with which Valencians have been living since it was announced on October 24, 7 and a half months ago, will end. In this way, the last general confinement of the Valencian Community disappears after the fall of the perimeter approximately a month ago.

The limit on social gatherings also disappears, after months of limiting gatherings with friends and family.

With the fall of the curfew, it has also been used to extend the closing hours of the hotel business, allowing its activity until 01:00. As for the gauges, they remain as before, 50% indoors and 100% outdoors.

Another measure that was being debated at the interdepartmental meeting, as Puig had announced this week, was the reopening of nightlife. This already warned that it would be gradual, betting on allowing the activity until 2 in the morning and without being able to use the dance floor. This has been confirmed by Ximo Puig today, so the sector will be reactivated as of next week.

Und wie steht es mit dem Rauchverbot auf den Restaurant-Terrassen? Wird das stillschweigend zum Dauerzustand?
