Jesús Pobre starts the first electric vehicle charging station

01 December 2017 - 07: 25

This Friday, December 1, the first electrical charging station for vehicles enters into operation at Jesús Pobre's EATIM. Installed at the intersection of Pinaret Street and Diagonal Street, this station has capacity for two vehicles with the aim of promoting sustainable mobility, betting on renewable energies, and promoting the reduction of polluting emissions to the environment.

The Eatim managed and carried out in June of 2.017 a proposal for the installation of a charging station for electric vehicles on public roads, with a cost of 12.038,50 euros, having received a subsidy of 50% IVACE to carry out its execution.

To carry out this electric recharging station, the Eatim de Jesús Pobre has had to carry out the works of channeling, wiring, foundations and the investment in the specific equipment of the recharging point. Specifically, Jesús Pobre's electricity station will have two charging points for two electric vehicles, with SCHUKO and MANNEKES connectors, and an 22 kW alternating current, that is, with a semi-fast load depending on the model of the vehicle. enabled a space for this purpose with specific signaling exclusively for these vehicles and for the recharging operation.

The access system to the station will be easy and simple, using an RFID card, and the management will be carried out by Fenie Energy, so that access to the recharge can also be done through the App and internet: it will be included in the network of recharging stations for its location, so it will be visible to all drivers, showing if it is free, occupied or reserved, the recharge will be facilitated with any RFID card, or from the mobile following the instructions for those who do not have it, and will have an informative support to a toll-free number.
