Good news for projects that Dénia has pending by supra-municipal institutions. This week we have known that the Ministry of Public Works has tendered the works of the house on Calle San José, a project through which this building will be conditioned for cultural use.
It is expected that the works, with a cost of 1.867.605,15 euros, begin during the first quarter of 2016 and 24 within months for its completion is expected. Full funding of the work is done by the Ministry of Public Works, as included in the Rehabilitation Program Arquitectónica.
This building in the historic center of Dénia, hosted the Senior Citizens Home Denia until his transfer to the Social Center. Since it was closed to the public he has suffered major damage to its facade.
