Entrepreneurs and educators join forces to improve vocational training

Employers, employment entities and educational and training centers met this Thursday to present the training project Marina Alta 2015 (FORMA15) that aims to improve knowledge about vocational training in these sectors. Among the attendees and partners of the project were the director of the Business School of Baleària (EdEB), Josep Vicent Mascarell, the president of the Círculo de Empresarios de la Marina Alta (CEDMA,)Sonja Dietz, The director of the UNED Dénia, Raquel Marí, the director of the IES María Ibars, Pepe Toni Server, the vice president of CREAMA, Vicente Chelet And representatives of CDT and Jovempa and AEHTMA.

Mascarell said that "The objective of FORMA15 is to improve the culture of training" y "put in contact those who form with those who employ". He also insisted that "We need companies to know about training."

President of CEDMA, Sonja Dietz, said that "This project makes no sense if companies are not involved". He indicated that "It helps to improve relations between companies and institutions. We should collaborate and jointly develop training cycles adapted to our demands, so graduates could offer themselves to working life."

FORMA15: Lectures, classroom discussions and teaching breakfast

FORMA15 partners will develop the project through lectures, classroom discussions and teaching breakfast. The intention is, through an Erasmus +, reach an international consortium that has as priority the relationship between educational systems and business and territory program. Also improved training and employability as activator demand for employment in local labor markets.

The first conference will be held on June 2 and will have as speaker the professor, politician and senior international official Federico Mayor Zaragoza, who made a reflection on the role of education and training and their socioeconomic impact.
