The Department of Health of Dénia -DSD- has begun to vaccinate against COVID-19 the population of the Marina Alta. The doses began to be supplied on February 18 to those over 90 years of age, residents of the region.
The patients in each of the 11 basic health zones of the DSD are cited in alphabetical order and from oldest to youngest, starting at the age of 90; so it is not necessary to request an appointment.
In some health centers, vaccination has become a true celebration, such as this one in Gata de Gorgos, in which the first three vaccinated have received a symbolic certificate from health professionals with great affection. The first vaccinated has been Andrés García Crespo; the second, Rosa Mulet Mulet and the third, Josefa Pons Signes; the three of 98 years.
